William D."Bill" Hayes, 77, of 720 Parkins Mill Road, died Saturday May 5, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Dewey and Lizzie Mae Hendricks Hayes. Mr Hayes retired from Eckerd Drugs and was a member of the Walden Masonic Lodge, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Eastlan Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Sue Watson Hayes, of the home ; two sons, David Hayes, Jr.,of Easley and Steve Hayes, of Anderson ; a brother, George (Billie) Hayes, of Greenville and a sister, Frances (Hovey) Anders, of Pickens.
Cryptside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends following the service at the mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Miracle Hill Ministries or the charity of one's choice.
