Mr. William Edward "Bill" Hendrix, 92, husband of the late Juanita Morgan Hendrix, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Richard Campbell Veteran's Nursing Center.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Sim Mack Hendrix and the late Donnie Woodward Hall, Mr. Hendrix retired from J.P. Stevens and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran having served in WWII.
Surviving are a son, Daniel Hendrix (Christa) of Oak Island, NC; two daughters, Dina Sellers (Leon), and Patricia Wayne (Dan), all of Easley; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hendrix was predeceased by three brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Victory Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday at the church, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Dina and Leon Sellers, 175 Wedgewood Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
