William Fred Hubbard, Sr.

William Fred Hubbard, Sr.,73, formerly of 115 Carolyn Road, went to be with the Lord Jesus on August 9, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late James Leroy and Oveline Atkinson Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard attended Southern Wesleyan University and retired from Carolina Tool and Equipment Company. He was a member of Easley Bible Methodist Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Judith Lynn Hubbard Gilliam, of Liberty; two sons, Dr. William Fred Hubbard, Jr., of Greenwood and James Thomas Hubbard, of Simpsonville; a sister, Martha Ann Hubbard Holcombe, of Easley and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Saturday at Easley Bible Methodist Church,conducted by the Reverend Terry D. Going, the Reverend Jimmy Wiggins, the Reverend Dr. Paul Baker Wood and Dr. Fred Hubbard, Jr. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the home of Martha Holcombe, 345 Lenhardt Road, Easley, and will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley Bible Methodist Church - Building Project, 110 Robinson Avenue, Easley, SC 29640, in honor of Fred Hubbard, Sr.
