Mr. William Arthur Jewell, 71, passed away peacefully Friday, October 17, 2014.

Born in Easley, a son of the late Arthur William Jewell and the late Irene Carter McCarthy, Mr. Jewell retired from Duke Power and attended Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Glenda Henson of Easley, and Shannon Calhoun of Liberty; one brother, Richard Jewell; one sister, Annette James; six grandchildren, Leslie, Alisha and Tamara Henson, Johnathon Brooks, Oscar Blue and Ben Hughes; and one great-grandchild, Brayden Henson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jewell was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 20, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
