William Ernest “Earnie” Kay, 64, of Central, SC, passed away on April 7, 2025.

Earnie studied welding at Tri-County Technical College, where he honed skills that reflected his dedication and passion for craftsmanship. Outside of his professional life, he found joy in crafting and collecting model cars, a hobby that sparked his creativity and brought him great satisfaction.

Family meant everything to Earnie, and he particularly cherished the time spent having fun with his sisters. Their bond was a source of love and laughter that will be remembered fondly.

Earnie is survived by sisters, Janie Crowe, Jeanne Marchbanks, Pamela Maw, Cindy Galloway, Regina Duncan, Jackie Collier, and Sherry Gilliland; Brother, Brad Kay; and Aunt Aileen Kay.

Earnie is preceded in death by his Parents Ernest Franklin Kay and Mary Pelt; and Brothers, Robert Collier, and Johnny Collier.

Visitation will be Friday April 11th, 2025, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. A Graveside service will be held at Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy starting at 3 PM.

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
