William Harold Leith, 85, of Easley, husband of the late Nancy Lee Allen Leith, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, at the Foothills Presbyterian Home.
Born in Due West, SC, a son of the late William Hartnette and Lucy Huddon Leith, Mr. Leith graduated from Erskine College in 1949 and University of South Carolina in 1952 with degrees in math and chemistry. Mr. Leith was a retired chemist with DuPont and a member of the American Chemical Society, the Chimerical Marketing Research Association, and Easley Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Leith Giambalvo, a son, William Harold Leith ll, and three grandchildren, Lauren Giambalvo, Emily Giambalvo, and John MacKay Leith.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 PM Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Easley Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the church parlor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Easley Presbyterian Church at 200 South 1St Street, Easley, SC 29640, or charity of one's choice.
