William Brown Lewis, 76, of 1805 Owens Road, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in West Union, WV, the son of the late George Patrick and Alice Mildred Wolverton Lewis. He attended Rutgers University and Youngstown University. He was a retired Iron Worker, Local Union 843 in Greensboro, NC. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #845 in Canfield, OH and a member of Evangel Christian Fellowship in Seneca.
Surviving are a son, William Alexander Lewis of Fayetteville, NC; three daughters, Debra G. Lewis Lalima of Summerville, SC, Melissa J. DuPuy of West Columbia, SC, Amy E. Kelly of Martinez, GA; three step-sons, Shawn Steck of Slidell, LA, Kurt Steck of Atlanta, GA, Mark Steck of Arizona; two step-daughters, Jacqueline Steck of Atlanta, GA, Shailah Steck of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Betty June Johnson of Columbus, OH; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Taylor Lewis; and two daughters, Katherine L. Lewis and Linda S. Lewis Crenshaw.
A memorial service will be 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2008 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Reverend James McCurley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Evangel Christian Fellowship; 502 Goddard Avenue; Seneca, SC 29678.
