William David Lucas of 105 Clarendon Drive, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
Born in Cleveland, GA, he was son of the late Barbara McMurray and Howard Preston Lucas, Sr. David was a graduate of Clemson University where he also earned his Masters Degree in Bio System Engineering. He was a former employee of Clemson University and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Seneca.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Burton Lucas of the home; daughters, Elizabeth L.Elrod (Eric) of Westminster, SC and Jessica A.Fowler (Josh) of Clinton, SC; son, Dustin R. Rhodes of Seneca, SC; brother, Howard Preston Lucas, Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA; grandchildren, Brenton David Elrod, Adalyn Rae Fowler,Triston P. Rhodes Vicktarov and Alexis Elrod; Step-mother, Martha Lucas of Stone Mountain, GA; uncle, Wade Lucas; and cousin Wadie Lucas.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sisters, Laura Lucas and Katherine Lucas.
Memorial services will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
