William "Bill" Robert McHugh, 60, of Wilmington, NC, died Saturday June 14, 2014 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens, SC.
Mr. McHugh was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Robert James and Nancy Anne Harvey McHugh. He retired as the publisher of The Morning Star newspaper in Gaylord, Michigan.
Surviving are his former wife, Kristal Ries McHugh, of Wilmington, NC; a son, William "Bill" Wesley McHugh, of Deerfield Beach, Florida; a daughter, Kaitlyn Rose McHugh, of Wilmington, NC and a brother, Patrick James McHugh, of Port St. Richie, Florida.
A reception will be hosted at the home of Kristal McHugh in Wilmington, NC at 3:00 pm on Saturday June 21, 2014.
Memorials may be made to New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation and Heart Center, 2259 S. 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
