Mr. William Christopher "Chris" Nicholson, 72, husband of the late Gail Rampey Nicholson passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Rev. Joseph Robert Nicholson, Sr. and the late Lois Ann Christopher Nicholson. Chris retired from the United States Postal Service with twenty-nine years of service. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a US Army National Guard Veteran.

Chris loved the outdoors and golfing, but his greatest love was for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Surviving are his daughter, Sara Nicholson of Rock Hill; his son, Bill Nicholson (Alicia) of McAllister, MT; his younger brothers, Joseph Robert "Bobby" Nicholson, Jr. (Edie) of Aiken and Daniel Warren Nicholson (Tracey) of Berea; and his three grandchildren, Isaiah Nicholson, Teresa Nicholson and Sara Nicholson. 

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Nicholson was predeceased by a sister, Robin Turner.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, August 27, 2023, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:15 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
