William "Billy" R. Redding, of Easley, husband to Pam Redding, went to his heavenly home, May 10, 2016.
Born February 24, 1961 in Greenville to Dorothy "Dot" Evelyn Thornton Redding and the late Ralph "R.V." Vestal Redding.
He married the love of his life, Pam Corwin, October 23, 1994. Billy most recently worked as a driver for L & L Container. He also owned and operated his own machine shop for many years. He loved to socialize, made friends every where he went, was dedicated to his family, and was extremely talented at building things, such as props for the marching band at Pickens High School. Billy was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church his entire life and he served his church through music as their sound technician.
In addition to his wife of 21 years he is survived by his son, Joseph; daughters, Anna and Emily; mother "Dot"; and numerous special friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 14th at 12:30PM in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1623 Hester Store Road, Easley, with Rev. Paul Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday, May 13th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, and for one hour prior to service Saturday at the church.
Flowers are accepted, and donations may be made directly to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
