William Charles Richardson, 86, of 132 Country Lane, died Thursday February 26, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown.
Mr. Richardson was born in Greenville, SC, a son of the late Robert Clifford and Johnsie Bell Lineberger Richardson. He retired from Greenville Transit Authority and was a Mason and a Lutheran. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy Johnson Richardson, of the home ; a son, Chuck Richardson, of Easley ; a daughter, Terri Crews, of Simpsonville ; a sister, Faye R. Moss, of Simpsonville and one grandchild, Jason Dale Crews, of Piedmont.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jenkins L. Richardson, Robert C. Richardson and John C. Richardson and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Epps.
Memorial Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Robert Miles officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Greenville Free Medical Clinic, 600 Arlington Avenue, Greenville, SC 29601.
