William A. Smoke

William Alan Smoke, 66, the beloved husband of Kathryn Ellison Smoke, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Deland, FL, a son of the late Gladys Brown Jones and step-son of Herbert Bolt Jones, he was a retired Disability Examiner with the State of South Carolina. He was a graduate of Clemson University, a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, the Piedmont Woodcarvers Club and the Furman University Learning in Retirement.
Bill loved life, he lived it to the fullest, he was a loving husband and father and he left behind many good friends and family and his faithful companion Shadow.
Surviving in addition to his wife; are one son, Anthony Smoke of Greenville; one daughter, Tonya Smoke of Greenville; three brothers, Robert Kennedy of Deland, FL, Charles Jones of Anderson and Tommy Jones of Greenville; and two sisters, Nita Campbell of Hendersonville, NC and Linda Jones of Greenville.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Saturday at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Revs. Cy Rogers and Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
