Mr. William Edward Spearman, 66, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, a son of Hazel Lucille Sentell Spearman, of Pickens, and the late David Franklin Spearman, Mr. Spearman was a US Army Veteran, retired from textiles and was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Elizabeth Whitman of Easley; a son, Timothy David Spearman (Stacey) of Liberty; one daughter, Teresa Spearman Crisp (David) of Pickens; four brothers, James Spearman of Easley, Roy Spearman of Simpsonville, Kenneth Spearman of Pickens and Terry Spearman of Easley; one sister, Gladys Locke of Pickens; and nine grandchildren. In addition to his father, Mr. Spearman was predeceased by a son, Tony Sylvester Spearman; a brother, Tommy Spearman and a sister, Linda Holmes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Reverend Charlie Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at 116 Cindy Lane, Easley, SC 29642.
