 William “Carl” Tant, beloved husband of Angie R. Tant, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 28, 2025, at his home.

 Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Jackie Tant of Easley and the late Delores Loleta Roper Tant.

 Carl worked in the heating and air industry. He loved his Lord and family dearly. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, reading his Bible, and spending time with his family and friends. 

 In addition to his wife of 33 years, Angie Tant, he is survived by his children, Ashley Tant Lance (Levi) of Liberty, and Michael Tant (Kayla O’Shields) of Pickens; grandchildren, Kynnidy Grace and Waylon Michael; and siblings, his twin, Carla Tant Luciano of Pickens, Thomas J. Tant (Kathy) of Liberty, Cynthia Tant Rogers (Tom) of Clemson, and Todd D. Tant of Easley.

 The family will hold a celebration of life service for Carl at a later date.
