William Norman Whitfield

William Norman Whitfield, 87, husband of Frankie Sue Stamey Whitfield passed away peacefully Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home in Pendleton.
Norman was a hard worker his entire life, whether it was working in the textile mills or serving his country in the US Army. He enjoyed gardening and he loved going to the Beach, something he and Frankie did every year. However, his family was most important. He loved each and every one of them.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Frankie Sue; his four children, Guy, Wallace, Sharon (Donald) and Wanda; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his brother, Paul.
There will be a private graveside service for the family.
