William Willie Wilson

William Ronnie "Willie" Wilson, 79, widower of Gail Lykins Wilson, passed away at his home following a short illness.

Willie was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Ronald Berkley and Retha Allen Wilson. He began a long work career with Richmond Gear in Richmond, Indiana and moved to the upstate and retired as a supervisor with Richmond Gear in Liberty, SC. He attended Alive Wesleyan Church and was affiliated with Friendship Fellowship Community Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Tina Parker (Stephen) of Pickens, SC; son, Todd Wilson (Radna) of Hendersonville, TN; brothers, David Allen Wilson of Shelbyville, TN, Darrell Wilson of Liberty, SC, Jarrell Wilson of Fountain Inn, Indiana, Gaylan Wilson of Pendleton, Indiana, Dale Wilson and Wayne Wilson both of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Amanda Parker Griggs (Wesley), Ashley Parker (Heather), Berkley Parker, Ashton Cheatham (Michael), Adam Wilson, Nike Pronk, Zizi Pronk and Vidan Pronk; and great grandchildren, Maddie Griggs, Sydney Griggs, Trinity Griggs, Joseph Griggs, Ari Parker and Collins Cheatham.

In addition to his wife, Willie was predeceased by brothers, Carl, Dan, Gary and Larry Wilson.

Services will be held at 4 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Callahan officiating.

The family will greet friends from 3:00 to 3:50 PM Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
