WILLIE MAE CANTRELL, Anderson
Mrs. Willie Mae Cantrell, 62, of the Sandy Springs Community, and wife of William Bobby Cantrell, died at her home on Saturday, April 29.
Born in Anderson County on May 30, 1943, Mrs. Willie Mae Cantrell was the daughter of the late JD Foster and the late Bessie Foster. She was a graduate of Forest College and retired from Michelin. She attended Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her daughter, Janet Griffin and her husband, Tony of Iva; one grandson, Matthew Crocker of Anderson; two brothers, Charles Foster and his wife Diane of Anderson and James Foster and his wife Sue of Pickens; two sisters, Gladys Murphy of Williamston and Mary Nell and her husband Donnell of Liberty.
The funeral service will be held at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 11am officiated by Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC.
The family is at the home, 522 Sandy Spring Rd., Anderson, SC 29625
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621.
