Willie Edwin Galloway, 74, of 114 Jefferson Street, died Tuesday, December 12, 2007 at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Edwin Foster and Mary Edna Willis Galloway. He was a logger and of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Ann McCarson Galloway of Startex; two sons, Melvin Galloway and Stevie Galloway, both of Duncan; three daughters, Vickie Kathleen Gilbert, Donna Sue Waddell, both of Startex, Anita Mae Galloway of California; two brothers, Floyd Galloway of Pickens, Lester Galloway of Easley; two sisters, Frances Messer of Georgis, Doris Whitmire of Marietta; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
