Willie Bee "Buck" McAlister, 84, of 120 Spoon Road, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at his home.
A native of Seneca, he was a son of the late William Ezekiel and Emma Lela Stephens McAlister. He was retired as a trades helper for Clemson University after 25 years of service.
Surviving are three sons, Danny, Ray, and Keith McAlister, all of Seneca; two daughters, Melinda and Cindy McAlister, both of the home; a brother, Roy McAlister of Pendleton; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Florence Mildred Hamilton McAlister; a son, Douglas McAlister; and two daughters, Patsy McAlister and Shirley Ann McAlister Meadows.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday at Mt. Vernon Holiness Church with Reverends Dennis Smith and Tim Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Saturday night from 6 PM - 8 PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
