Willie Lewis Singley passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Singley was born in Newberry County, and was a son of the late Rodger and Willie Mae Wise Singley.
He was retired from the South Carolina Employment Commission and the US Air Force. He was a member of Hannah AME Church in Newberry.
Surviving are a devoted companion, Mimi Daniels of Westminster; daughter, Laverne Sanders of Columbia; three brothers, Carl Singley of Aiken, Elmer Singley of Augusta, GA, and Ray Singley of Newberry; one sister, Betty Singley of Charleston.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Hannah AME Church in Newberry, SC, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Wilson Funeral Home will assist the family with services in Newberry.
