Wilma Dexter Yorty, 67, wife of Arthur Yorty died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at AnMed Health. Native of Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Lula Atkins Dexter. She attended the Bible Methodist Church in Easley and was a homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons; John Yorty, Richmond, VA, Bob Yorty(Denise), Pendleton, Dwayne Yorty(Donna), Pendleton; daughters, Donna Moffitt (Thomas), Pendleton, Carol Hardman, Pendleton, Brenda Thompson (Ronald, Jr.), Central; brothers, Gaylord Dexter (Verna), East Sparta, OH, Ernest Dexter (Freida), North Canton, OH, Wilbert Dexter, Canton, OH, John Dexter (Regina), Canton, OH, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, George Dexter.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1pm in chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson. The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm and Saturday from 12-1pm prior to the service.
