Wilton C. Tucker

Mr. Wilton Columbus Tucker, 80, husband of Angela Wells Tucker, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Southern Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Born in Rockdale County, GA, a son of the late Troy Columbus and Bernice Bloodworth Tucker, Mr. Tucker was a graduate of Welcome High School and of the Methodist faith. He retired from Southeastern Freight Lines, and later retired as the owner and operator of B&T Services.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of twenty-eight years are two sons, Wilton Columbus Tucker, Jr. (Becky) of Travelers Rest, and Michael David Tucker (Melissa) of Greenville; two daughters, Julie McCool (Peyton) of Greer, and Charla Bloomer (Marc) of Powdersville; and nine grandchildren, Tara Tucker, Justin Tucker, Elizabeth McCool, Jay Tucker, Mitchell Tucker, Holly Tucker, Garrett Bloomer, Ellison Bloomer and Anna Louise Bloomer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was predeceased by a brother, Floyd Tucker; and three sisters, Hellen Brookshire, Frances Hester and Mary Robinson.
Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Bethesda United Methodist Church, Powdersville with Rev. Dan Batson officiating. The church is located at 516 Piedmont Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday at the church, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
