Winnie Lee Hudson Bell, 89, wife of James "Jim" Roger Bell, of Williamston, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Luther Ferb and Dora Nancy Crenshaw Hudson.
She had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in her flower beds, often earning Yard of the Month honors. She also found joy in baking for loved ones and exploring new places through her travels with her husband. She was also a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Williamston.
In addition to her loving husband of over 35 years, Mrs. Bell is survived by daughters, Karen Sue "Susie" Coldiron (Steve), Sharon Michele Dickson (Pat), and Sheila Sloan Brown (Trent Holtzclaw); brothers, Larry Hudson (Carolyn) and Ray Hudson (Libby); sisters, Judy Gruver (Paul) and Pat Clark; five grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Sloan; a daughter, Janet Sloan; a brother, Jr. Hudson; and sisters, Virginia Spearman, Myrt Fowler, and Bea Adcox.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sunset.
