Winnie Ruth Hunter Reynolds

Winnie Ruth Hunter Reynolds, 92, of Central, wife of the late William Verner "Polly" Reynolds, passed away February 22, 2025.

Born in Central, she was the daughter of the late John Curtis Hunter and Sara Frances Satterfield Hunter. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of Central Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and being with her family.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Joey Reynolds of Central, John Reynolds of Liberty, Eugene Reynolds of Seneca, Edward Reynolds of Central, Charles Reynolds of Iva, Thomas Reynolds of Central, Verner Reynolds of Central, Nathan Reynolds of Six Mile, and Franklin Reynolds of Central; daughters, Frances Bolt of Ware Shoals, Melinda Hayes of Anderson, Jeannie Johnson of Kentucky, Pennie Burkett of Central, and Cynthia Teets of Clemson. Mrs. Reynolds is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, parents, siblings and a son, Leroy Reynolds.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank Agape Hospice for the care Ruth received.
