Mrs. Winnie Glover Riggs, 102, wife of the late Edwin E. Riggs, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at Cottingham Hospice House, Seneca.
Born December 23, 1908 in Heidelberg, MS, a daughter of the late William J. and Cornelia Nix Glover, Mrs. Riggs was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, Edwin Eugene Riggs, Jr. of Central, SC; a granddaughter, Lauren of Milton, MA; a grandson, Douglas of Seneca, SC; and a sister, Jewell Lynch of Grimesland, NC.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
