Woodrow Wilson Tinsley, 95, husband of the late Evelyn Aline Burrell Tinsley, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his home.

Born in Pickens County to the late Willie and Helen Tarrant Tinsley, Woodrow was a member of Piedmont Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are three sons, Woody Tinsley, Jr. (Dana), Bobby Joe Tinsley (Faith), and Willie Hugh Tinsley (Judy); a daughter, Wanda Dresser (Roger); a brother, Henry Tinsley; three sisters, Louise Ward, Estelle Jenkins and Betty Huffman; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Ethel Wardlaw Tinsley, a son Wayne Tinsley, three brothers and by four sisters.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Piedmont Church of God of Prophecy. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
