Yasue Sano "Susie" Wardlaw, 78, wife of the late Johnnie W. Wardlaw, Jr. passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011.

Mrs. Wardlaw was born in Japan and was the daughter of the late Orieso and Akako Sano.

She was a school teacher in Japan and later she retired from Clemson University as a custodian supervisor. Mrs.
Wardlaw was a member of Central First Baptist Church.

Surviving are three brothers; Akio, Suzo, and Mazam Sano and two sisters; Cizuko and Mineko Sano all of Japan. Niece and nephew Rev. Mike and Gail Dobson of Central, great-niece Jennifer Dobson of Lexington, brother-in-law Leland Dobson of Central, and a special friend Thelma Smith of Central.

Funeral Services will be conducted by Rev. Mike Dobson and Rev. Tony Quackenbush at 3 PM Sunday, November 20, 2011 in the chapel of Duckett/Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM on Sunday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
