Zachery Alan DeBuysser, 21, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
Born on April 19, 2004, in Greer, South Carolina, he was a bright light in the lives of many, known for his fearless spirit and unwavering loyalty. With his sharp wit and quick comebacks, Zachery had a unique ability to bring joy to any situation, leaving everyone around him smiling—even on the days when he might have gotten under their skin. Zachery was a devoted father, a protector at heart who cherished every moment with his daughter. No request was too great for him; he delighted in giving her everything she wanted. This dedication extended beyond family, as he never met a stranger, embracing everyone with open arms and an infectious confidence that made him unforgettable. His adventurous spirit shone through in his love for bikes and ATVs, as well as his appreciation for the mountains and the beach. He was always seeking new experiences, driven by curiosity and a passion for life. Some of his favorite sayings, such as “It’s just more money” and “Bet you won’t,” perfectly encapsulated his playful nature and desire to live life to the fullest.
Zachery may have been stubborn, wanting to learn things his own way, but it was this determination that made him who he was. His vibrant personality, joyful laughter, and memorable presence will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He left an indelible mark on our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and embrace life without hesitation.
In addition to his parents, Zachery is survived by his daughter, Athena Hayven DeBuysser; his father, Bill Rose, Jr. (Carol); his mother, Lisa DeBuysser; five brothers, Shane Heeringa (Keli), Michael Sizemore, Cameron DeBuysser (Jonah), Chris Rose, and Mark Rose; his grandmother, Debbie Parker; ten nieces and nephews, Anthony, Makenzi, Cameron, Rylee, Alexis, Jaclyn, Hugh, Jamie, Brady, and Bryn; five cousins, Trevor, Brandon, Austin, Blake, and Haley; two aunts, Christi and Michele; as well as Cameron’s dad, Eric DeBuysser.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. Following the service, the family will gather at Zachery’s home, 613 Farrs Road, Easley, SC 29640, anyone is invited to stop by.
